Thank you for visiting the website for the Law Office of Daniel J. Neilsen, PLLC.
After 10 years of practicing law with two medium-sized law firms, I chose to start a legal practice where I can use my knowledge, experience and compassion to serve individuals and businesses whose core values reflect patriotism, hard work, and integrity in developing their work and providing security for themselves and their families.
Many people who find themselves in need of legal assistance, whether it be to start a business, draft a will, file a claim with a government agency or in responding to an unanticipated legal matter, realize that the legal system can be complex, confusing and intimidating. All of these factors make working with the legal system and achieving your goals very time consuming, taking valuable time away from your business and family.
I've spent over ten years working in the energy and utilities industry before state and federal regulatory agencies. My work has included counseling clients on regulatory compliance and rate regulation, litigation, to helping develop relationships between private businesses and the Department of Defense. These experiences have enabled me to understand the administrative and regulatory process at many levels of government, including the ability to litigate those matters in the proper venues.

I have a deep respect and passion for our military and veterans and have used that passion to co-found a non-profit organization called Always Brothers that honors our fallen U.S. service men and women while raising funds for various issues related to assisting veterans and their families. I have also used that passion to better understand the legal issues and processes that our veterans face in receiving the benefits they deserve from the Department of Veterans Affairs ("DVA") and am dedicated to using that knowledge in representing veterans with their claims assistance and appeals with the DVA.
